About NJ Tiny Talkers

Hi! We're Jillian and Dana, two certified speech language pathologists who also happen to be best friends for over 15 years. We originally met at sleepaway camp in 2006, and found ourselves in the same career in adulthood. We started NJ Tiny Talkers in the summer of 2022 as a way to promote language and socialization in children who likely spent their first few years at home due to the pandemic. We provide a personalized approach to therapy and strive to create a nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and supported. We currently provide services to families in the Hudson County area. If you're looking for a caring and experienced team of speech and language pathologists to support your child's development, we are here to help!

PECS Level I trained

Hi! I'm Jillian, one of the co-founders of Tiny Talkers. I received my Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders from UMass Amherst and my Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Montclair State University. I am a state and nationally certified speech therapist currently working in a public school setting in addition to private sessions. My therapy sessions are designed to be fun, motivating, and tailored to each individual child's needs. I take a neurodiversity affirming approach to therapy, meaning that I respect and celebrate the unique qualities of every child. In my free time, I enjoy finding the best restaurants, shopping (too much) and trying out new coffee shops in the community. I am a huge foodie!!

PROMPT Level I trained

Hi! I'm Dana, co-founder of NJ Tiny Talkers. I have received my Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders from Penn State University, and my Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Seton Hall University. With over seven years of experience working for the Jersey City Public Schools, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges that children face when it comes to communication. I am committed to helping overcome those challenges and helping children find their voice by turning games into developmentally appropriate activities specific to the needs of the child. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, and binge watching TV shows, currently "The Morning Show."
